Every day our members utilize a personal trainer and so can you. All of our personal trainers have either achieved a four year degree in an exercise related field or obtained a nationally accredited certification.

Annie

Annie has been a member of the BAC for Women since 2012. The BAC is where she fell in love with fitness and developed a passion for helping others fall in love with it too! She is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, certified in Barre above, TRX functional training and Pilates. Annie also teaches Power 30 here at our Tonawanda location. Annie is available for one-on-one training- Come train with her!

Carrie H

Carrie is a certified Personal Trainer. She also has her BS in Exercise Science. Carrie is a mom of a 7 year old and a 4 year old- Life is good!!! She has been personal training for over 14 years at the BAC for Women and loves working with all types of clients! Her philosophy on exercise is that it should be fun, or why bother? Come train with Carrie and find out!!

Debbie

Debbie joined the BAC for Women when our Tonawanda location opened over 11 years ago. Since then, she has become a Star 3 Spinning Instructor, ACE Certified Health Coach, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. Debbie also holds certifications in TRX and BARRE. She feels her job is about so much more than teaching people how to exercise- “It’s about providing friendship, support and motivation as well as showing them that working toward better health and wellness can be fun and not feel like work.  At first, joining the gym was a way for me to escape – to do something for myself. It has become more than I ever could have dreamed…Now, it is a passion; a way for me to share my love for fitness and well-being! I hope that I can demonstrate to other “moms” that they CAN find time to stay fit too.”

Jen T

Jen holds a current CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and specialize in sports specific training through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Her goal is to educate you how to create a balanced lifestyle between fitness & nutrition and inspire you to live your happiest & healthiest life! She will demonstrate and execute workout routines to help you become leaner faster, stronger, more flexible & develop muscle endurance to perform better in your daily life and remain injury free with great results! Jen teaches Power 30 STRONG and HIIT classes while incorporating necessary accessory work into her classes that will contribute/compliment full-body movements to help you gain strength and see results! Jen is also available for one-on-one sessions around your busy schedule!

Jill

Hi! My name is Jill and I am the Small Group Training and 6 Week Challenge Director and Director of Personal Training here at Colvin. Our Power 30 program is one of my greatest accomplishments and I am so proud of its success and I love how much our members love it!! I am an AFAA certified personal trainer, ACE Certified Health Coach as well as a Power 30, Yoga, Cycling and Chisel instructor. I have a lifelong love of fitness and health and wellness that I love to share with our members. I am also the proud mom of 3 awesome kids!

Joelle

Hi my name is Joelle Mathews. I am a NFPT certified personal trainer. I enjoy teaching yoga, and Pilates. In my free time I enjoy doing outdoor sports such as hiking, running and bike riding. I have been working at the BAC since 2010.

Kristin

Kristin is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer here at the BAC for Women. She is also certified in Pilates and TRX Training. You can find her on the schedule teaching Cycling, Body Chisel and Power 30 classes. The BAC is where Kristin discovered her passion for fitness about 7 years ago. She is currently pursuing a career in Nursing at the University at Buffalo. She believes that exercise is so important for your overall health and happiness. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is being able to see, and help women achieve their goals and lead a healthier lifestyle!

Lacey

Lacey is a Lifestyle Coach as well as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer here at the BAC for Women. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management as well as a double minor in Athletic Coaching and Nutrition. Lacey is CPR/AED certified through American Red Cross. She played Division III Field Hockey all 4 years at SUNY Oswego and was a personal trainer there as well. She has been a regular exerciser since she started gymnastics at the age of 3. She enjoys strength training as well as HIIT and running. Lacey started off at the BAC as a Fitness Coach and transitioned into a Lifestyle Coach. She works with members one on one, as well as in small groups. She also teaches Power 30. Lacey says “You’re stuck with your body for the rest of your life so why not make it the best it can be?!”

Laura

Laura has been a member of the BAC since the early 2000s. She has always been a fitness enthusiast and has a strong passion for weight training. She is an ACE certified personal trainer and is CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross. Laura is teaching Power 30 classes at our Williamsville location and would love for you to join her to see how you can have fun while getting fit!

Lavanya K.

Years teaching/training: 7. Certifications/Education: B.Sc. – Biology and Physiology, M.S. – Exercise Physiology, MPH – Epidemiology, Certified Personal Trainer, Additional certifications in: Group exercise, TRX, Spinning and Yoga. What styles of classes you teach: Cycling, Yoga, Strength Training, Stability Ball.

Exercise is one of the best forms of preventive health. At the BAC, you have the opportunity to pick up an activity of your choice and pursue it for life. I believe in looking at the big picture and making small lifestyle changes that lead us forward each day. Here’s to YOUR health!

Michelle

Michelle is a Fitness Coach and ACE Certified Person Trainer at our Tonawanda location. She started here as a member in 2007 shortly after her son was born. She fell in love with the group exercise classes and positive environment the club had to offer. Michelle soon realized she wanted to help other women feel empowered to start their own fitness journey and became a Fitness Coach. Her passion for health and fitness grew from there and she earned her personal training certification through ACE. She loves working with clients of all ages and fitness levels. You will also see her subbing our regular, TRX, Combat, and Barre Power 30 classes. On her days off you can find Michelle in the club taking classes, after all being a member is what started her love of this club. She believes exercise should be something you enjoy and make you feel good about yourself. Michelle is always looking for new clients to work with for one on one or pairs training, contact her to help achieve your fitness goals!

Stephanie

Stephanie is the Sales Manager and a Power 30 instructor at our Tonawanda location. She currently holds a personal training certification through NETA and is CPR/AED certified. She has been an employee of the BAC for over 5 years but her journey started here in 2011 when she joined as a member. “I loved the environment so much, that when I saw the job posting for fitness coach, I immediately knew I wanted to work here. Being able to offer support and encouragement to women is very fulfilling to me. Traci

Traci is a Group Exercise Instructor at the BAC for Women Tonawanda location. She brings over 17 years of experience in progressive health & fitness, coaching, training and motivating clients to perform at their best as well as achieve, maintain and implement their personal fitness goals in their daily lives. Traci encourages clients to take action while understanding and managing their own health care in a positive, motivating and challenging environment. She has had great success in working with diverse populations including all levels of fitness.

Traci has a proven and established track record of driven results with her clients who train with her one on one, in a small group or with those who take her weekly classes. She tries to lead by example and continues to motivate, shape and transform those who work with her keeping in mind everyone’s limitations.
