Pilates is a progressive series of exercises performed on a mat that will increase your strength, flexibility and balance, while focusing on breathing and mindful body movement.

Sandy joined the BAC for Women in 2007 during the last leg of her 80 pound weight loss journey and being a member ever since has helped her to maintain her weight loss for more than 10 years. In 2015, just before her first knee replacement surgery, Sandy trained with Ellen Coleman to become a Group Exercise instructor in Pilates and cycling. She had my other knee replaced in June 2017. Currently, Sandy teaches Pilates classes at our Tonawanda BAC for Women location. She’s looking forward to seeing you in one of her classes!
