Akemi is a Zumba® and Zumba® Toning instructor at the BAC for Women Williamsville location. She is ZIN licensed in Zumba®, Zumba® Toning and Zumba® Sentao.


Alexandra has have been teaching at the BAC for Women since 1999. She has her Group Exercise Certification and she teaches Step & Chisel, Step 101 and Body Blast classes. Currently, she teaches at the BAC for Women Williamsville location.

Amy D.

Amy D. is a stay at home Mom for a four year old and two year old. She has a degree in education and a passion for exercise so she love being able to combine the two at the BAC for Women! Cardio kickboxing has been her favorite way to get the heart rate up and her body moving. She can’t wait to see you all in class!

Amy M

Amy M. is the Power 30 Director at our Williamsville location and teaches Group Ex classes. She is certified thru ISCA, the International Sports Conditioning Association. She has been with the BAC for Women for 10 years. Amy has taught Strike Zone, Sweat Shop, Body Blast and sculpt classes. She uses a variety of equipment in her strength training classes and likes to bring fresh ideas to each workout! She loves every aspect of fitness, from a great cardio vascular workout, resistance training, to working on stability and flexibility. Amy is excited to take on my new role as the Williamsville Power 30 Director!


Annie has been a member of the BAC for Women since 2012. The BAC is where she fell in love with fitness and developed a passion for helping others fall in love with it too! She is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, certified in Barre above, TRX functional training and Pilates. Annie also teaches Power 30 here at our Tonawanda location. Annie is available for one-on-one training- Come train with her!


The BAC has been a second home to Antoinette since January of 2001, when she joined to recover from a knee injury. A year later she was working the front desk, and in 2008, she became AFAA certified to teach classes. Antoinette looked forward to Sunday mornings, when she teaches Body Chisel at the BAC Tonawanda location. During the week, when she’s not at the BAC working out, she teaches fourth graders in Hamburg. One of her favorite mottos is “Tell me I can’t and I’ll show you that I can”.


Arissa first started at the BAC for Women as a member taking her mom Cathy’s cycling classes. That sparked her interest in fitness. In high school she interned with Katie, a personal trainer and group exercise instructor and Ellen, the Regional Group Exercise Director here at the BAC for Women which pushed her even further. Right out of high school Arissa became a personal trainer certified with ACE (American Council on Exercise). She has also done specialty workshops on the BOSU trainer. She now teaches Cycling and is a personal trainer here at the BAC for Women.

Brandi likes to mix it up- with her playlist that is. She joined the BAC in 2007 and has made exercise a daily part of her life. She decided to share her enthusiasm and passion for exercising with others and became an instructor. Brandi currently teaches RIPT, Body Chisel and Cycling. She looks forward to seeing you in her classes!


Carrie is a certified Personal Trainer. She also has her BS in Exercise Science. Carrie is a mom of a 7 year old and a 4 year old- Life is good!!! She has been personal training for over 14 years at the BAC for Women and loves working with all types of clients! Her philosophy on exercise is that it should be fun, or why bother? Come train with Carrie and find out!!


Cathy is a certified Star 2 level Spinning instructor and Small Group Personal Training class instructor. She has been teaching for the BAC for Women for over 5 years. She came to the club as a member and loved it so much that she decided to get certified and began teaching classes. Cathy currently teaches Carousel as a small group training class at our Tonawanda location. The class involves circuits of cardio and strength to challenge you in every way possible. She is also a full time hair stylist at Salon Allure in Williamsville.


Christina developed a passion for cycling through taking the cycling classes at the BAC and wanted to help teach other women how to be their best! She pursued her training and completed her BAC/RAC cycling certification with flying colors.

She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and is a full time Registered Nurse At Buffalo General. Her background as a health professional makes her passionate about fitness and taking care of our bodies. She believes that exercising, staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle are the best ways to be healthy not only physically, but mentally. She hopes to inspire and help women to be the healthiest and happiest they can be!

Christine A

Christine A. is a music lover with a fitness problem – She’s motivated by a good playlist and a hard earned sweat! She has her BS in Exercise Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Christine teaches cycling and yoga. It’s her goal to help bring health and happiness to the women of the BAC for Women!


After losing over 50 pounds Dawn joined the BAC and began taking group fitness classes. The instructors were so uplifting and inspiring she decided to try it too! Dawn became AFAA certified over 7 years ago has taught a variety of classes. In 2011 she began working with Hope Chest to help breast cancer survivors regain strength and fitness after their illness. Helping all women to gain physical strength and build self confidence has become her passion!


Debbie joined the BAC for Women when our Tonawanda location opened over 11 years ago. Since then, she has become a Star 3 Spinning Instructor, ACE Certified Health Coach, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer. Debbie also holds certifications in TRX and BARRE. She feels her job is about so much more than teaching people how to exercise- “It’s about providing friendship, support and motivation as well as showing them that working toward better health and wellness can be fun and not feel like work.  At first, joining the gym was a way for me to escape – to do something for myself. It has become more than I ever could have dreamed…Now, it is a passion; a way for me to share my love for fitness and well-being! I hope that I can demonstrate to other “moms” that they CAN find time to stay fit too.”

Diane S

Diane is a wife, mother of 3 beautiful boys and an elementary school teacher, but her passion is Zumba®! She fell in love with Zumba when she joined the BAC in July of 2011. Three months later Diane got licensed and has been teaching ever since. She is also licensed in Zumba® Toning and Zumba® Kids. Diane currently teaches both Zumba® and Zumba® Toning at the Williamsville BAC location. The various rhythms and the adrenaline rush always make it a great workout – whether you’re a beginner or a regular! Come check her out and join the party!


Erica is a yoga instructor here at our BAC for Women- Williamsville location. She is trained in Power Yoga and holds a 200-hr certificate. She first fell in love with the athleticism of Power Yoga, however she also appreciates the mind-body connection yoga has to offer. Erica’s background is in swimming and she spent many years coaching various teams. When she is not doing yoga, you may find her in a pool, taking a dance class, boxing, or walking my rescue dog, Cubby. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Buffalo.


Hanna M. is a new Power 30 instructor here at our BAC- Williamsville location! Along with her Power 30 classes, you’ll also see her smiling face at the front desk as you walk in. She is currently an undergrad at the University at Buffalo with intentions of majoring in Nursing with a concentration as a First Assist Nurse Practitioner. Hanna is also dual minoring in Kinesiology and Italian. Working out is one of her major passions, besides her family and sports. Hanna is always looking to fill her time training clients and loves to have the opportunity to help members reach their health and wellness goals!


Heather started working for the BAC in 2011 when she was hired after her high school internship with us. Shortly after that she became an ACE certified personal trainer and a certified Spinning instructor. Heather has been working on and off for us while she attended the State University of New York at Fredonia and the University at Buffalo studying exercise science. She now attends New York Chiropractic College and will be a Doctor of Chiropractic in December of 2019. She is currently practicing as a chiropractic clerk in Depew, New York. She has recently become FMT Rock Tape certified which is a taping technique used to decrease pain and increase functional movement patterns.

Through her experience she likes working with all types of clients, from clients who are new in the gym to experienced college athletes. Her favorite types of work outs are strength training and high intensity interval training which she incorporates into her power 30 classes and one on one training sessions. Hilary has been instructing a variety of Group Exercise classes since 2005. She is certified as a Senior Fitness Specialist through NASM. She is also certified through AFAA, Blue Powder Productions (Turbokick & Piyo), Body Training Systems (Spinning and Group Power), trained with the Arthritis Foundation, completed a Personal Trainer Preparatory course, and have CPR & AED certification through the American Heart Association. Outside the BAC she works full-time as the Cultural Arts Manager at Asbury Pointe Retirement Home. For fun Hilary enjoys playing softball,volleyball, and running different level races (5k, 10k, Half marathons, and marathons).


Jen started as a Fitness Coach with the BAC over 11 years ago! She holds a current CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and specialize in sports specific training through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). Her goal is to educate you how to create a balanced lifestyle between fitness & nutrition and inspire you to live your happiest & healthiest life! She will demonstrate and execute workout routines to help you become leaner faster, stronger, more flexible & develop muscle endurance to perform better in your daily life and remain injury free with great results! Jen is looking forward to working with you!

Jen S

Jen S. teaches indoor cycling and Power 30! Sports and exercise have been her passion her whole life. Jen played rugby, ice hockey, and wrestled for many years – these days you will find her cycling or in the yoga studio. Her education includes: B.Sc. – Kinesiology (Western University of Ontario), M.S. – Exercise Science (University of Toronto), and Ph.D. – Exercise Physiology (Penn State). Jen S. is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist thought the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition to teaching at the BAC, she is an Assistant Professor of Health Promotion at Daemen College. At Daemen, she teaches Exercise Physiology, Exercise Prescription, Healthy Eating and Body Image, Introduction to Weight Lifting and other general health promotion courses.


Jill is the Small Group Training and 6 Week Challenge Director and Director of Personal Training at our Tonawanda location. Our Power 30 program is one of her greatest accomplishments and she is so proud of its success- She loves how much our members love it!! Jill is a AFAA certified personal trainer, as well as a Power 30, Yoga, Cycling and Chisel instructor. She has a lifelong love of fitness and health and wellness that she loves to share with our members. Jill is also the proud mom of 3 awesome kids!


Group classes are a great way to work out! Just walk in the door, give your best effort on that day, and walk out feeling like you’ve accomplished something. Judy teaches Body Chisel and Cycling and at times can also be found teaching Strike Zone and Pilates. Her certifications include: AFAA Group Exercise, Mad Dogg Spinning, and ISCA Pilates.


Katie is a certified personal trainer through AFAA and has been training and teaching group exercise classes since 2008 at our Tonawanda location. She currently trains a small group boot camp class and teaches cycling classes. She believes in a balanced lifestyle and of living a life you’re proud of. Katie also believes that a good sweat can do wonders for the soul. Come check out one of her classes to get a tough workout in that will end up being the best part of your day!

Kelly B

Kelly has been an group exercise instructor for over 10 years. She is a certified Group Exercise Instructor through the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America. She also has a current CPR/AED certification from the American Heart Association. Kelly teaches Body Chisel and Cycling classes at the BAC for Women Depew/Lancaster location.

Kelly S

There is no better feeling than an adrenaline rush after a great workout! Kelly joined the BAC for Women as a member in 2011 and discovered her love for fitness. As a member of the BAC, she met many inspirational women who encouraged her to become an instructor. She currently teaches cycling at the BAC for Women, Williamsville location. She says “It is incredibly rewarding to motivate and challenge women.”

She has a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Buffalo School of Pharmacy and works as a clinical pharmacist in the intensive care unit at a local hospital. Fitness is an invigorating way to reduce stress with a demanding career.

Kim A

Kimberly is a AFAA Group exercise certified instructor and currently teaches R. I. P. T. and cycling.
She has been teaching for the BAC for Women for over 5 years and along with her career as an elementary school teacher, she thinks she has the best jobs in the world!

Kim M

Kim is a certified group exercise instructor and has been teaching for over 3 years now. She teaches Body Blast and subs several other classes such as Body Chisel, R.I.P.T., and Strike Zone. Kim is also continuing education classes through AFAA and she thoroughly loves what she does and helping out the other members. She started out in 2003 as a member and have since loved both BAC locations! She currently teaches at our Tonawanda location. Kim is also the mother of three grown children and is now an empty nester, which leaves her even more time to be available to help out when needed at the BAC for Women.

Kim P.

Hi,my name is Kim. I’ve been a member of the BAC for WOMEN for over 10 years. I am certified in Adult, Child and Infant CPR & AED. I’m currently taking several of my favorite classes and I’m also teaching Cycling classes at our Depew/French Rd location. I also enjoy  subbing  at our other locations when needed. Quite a few years ago, I lost over 100 pounds. I maintain that loss by attending a variety of the great classes offered at the BAC. I also credit the members I’ve met who have become new friends and encourage me to never give up. I love giving back by encouraging and motivating  them, which has given me the desire to teach cycling. My passion for cycling has brought me to the completion of numerous duathlons. On my fitness journey, I have completed over 10 full marathons including one Ultra. I have also completed close to 60 half marathons and numerous 5ks,10ks and 15ks. I have mentored and helped numerous runners complete their first couch to 5k programs and and I am currently a coach and co-president of a local women’s running club. My motto is “Always have fun while getting the fitness done!”.



I’m Krissy a BAC for Women member and high school English teacher. I have always loved cycling and cycling classes at the BAC. During my maternity leave, I trained for and became a cycling instructor to stay in shape and also continue my passion for teaching. I love working out because it makes me feel great, both physically and mentally. I’m looking forward to teaching Wednesday nights at BAC Colvin and helping you accomplish your fitness goals!


Kristin is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer here at the BAC for Women. She is also certified in Pilates and TRX Training. You can find her on the schedule teaching Cycling, Body Chisel and Power 30 classes. The BAC is where Kristin discovered her passion for fitness about 7 years ago. She is currently pursuing a career in Nursing at the University at Buffalo. She believes that exercise is so important for your overall health and happiness. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is being able to see, and help women achieve their goals and lead a healthier lifestyle!


Lacey is a Fitness Coach as well as a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer here at the BAC for Women. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management as well as a double minor in Athletic Coaching and Nutrition. Lacey is also CPR/AED certified through American Red Cross. She played Division III Field Hockey all 4 years at SUNY Oswego and was a personal trainer there as well. She has been a regular exerciser since she started gymnastics at the age of 3. She enjoys strength training as well as HIIT and running. Lacey says “You’re stuck with your body for the rest of your life so why not make it the best it can be?!”


Laura has been a member of the BAC since the early 2000s. She has always been a fitness enthusiast and has a strong passion for weight training. She is an ACE certified personal trainer and is CPR/AED certified through the American Red Cross. Laura is teaching Power 30 classes at our Williamsville location and would love for you to join her to see how you can have fun while getting fit!

Leslie has a BS degree in Exercise Science. She is certified through AFFA for group exercise instructor and Maddog for spinning. She has taught group fitness classes for the last 26 years which include, step, kick boxing, hi/lo, body sculpting, katami, spinning, and cycling. Leslie enjoyed working for the BAC since 1996.


Lyne has been teaching group exercise classes for 39 years. Her career began in Oakland, MD., with stop overs in Milton, MA., Naperville, IL., Jacksonville, FL., Easton, MD., Chicago, IL., and now Buffalo, NY. Her certifications include AAFA Group Exercise, Step, Pilates, APEX/AAFA Yoga Instructor Certification [200 hours], Aura Wellness Yoga Teacher Certification [500 hours], Exel Sports Nordic Walking Trainer and NPTA Personal Trainer.
Her students have ranged from 4 years old to 93 years young. From the very healthy to those suffering with Chronic Pain Disorder.
Most were/are motivated and eager to improve but some suffered Mood and Behavior Disorders caused by Depression. Getting them out of their hospital beds was a challenge and seeing them smile after our sessions is just one of the reasons she loves teaching fitness.
“My hope for all of you who chose to play with me is that you take what we do together in the studio and use it throughout the rest of your day and share it with your friends.”


Marisa has taught for the BAC for 20 years starting when I was just 17 years old! During this time she received my BS in Health and Wellness and a Masters in Education. She is currently certified through ISCA, Madd Dog Spinning, and AHA CPR/AED. Marisa currently teaches Cycling at the BAC for Women Williamsville location. As a mother of 5 children, she feels exercise is a great outlet and a reminder to take care of her own body, while being a great example to her children.

Mary G

Mary has been a group exercise class instructor since 2006. She became a licensed Zumba® Instructor in 2007 and is also licensed to teach Zumba® Toning, Aqua Zumba®, Sentao, Zumba® Step, Zumba® Gold and Kid’s Zumba®. Mary is also a AFFA Certified Group Exercise Instructor. Beside teaching Zumba® she teaches Body Chisel (a Muscle building and toning class). She enjoys helping others stay fit and healthy through exercise! You never know what you can achieve unless you try it- so come and shake, wiggle and make some noise and let’s all stay fit together.


MaryAnne has been teaching group exercise classes for over 23 years. Her certifications and Education include AFAA, Zumba®, Zumba® Toning and Zumba® Kids. She currently teach Zumba® classes. She is also a motivational speaker, author and wellness consultant. MaryAnne is the proud owner of Creatively Fit.


I have been a member of BAC for Women since 2015, joining the club when my current gym closed down. I have had a passion for exercising since the age of 14 and has belonged to several clubs before BAC, as well as having done many years of  at-home exercise videos when my children were young.  I currently teach Pilates and Yoga at both the Evans and Colvin locations.  Having dealt with a lot of pain and fatigue in my lifetime due to multiple illnesses, I love to hear from members that I am helping them to alleviate their pain, resume what they thought were long lost energy levels, and obtain a brighter, more optimistic attitude, all through the process of exercising.


Michelle has been teaching with the BAC for 5 years, dedicated to helping others enjoy exercise and a healthy Lifestyle. She is AFFA group exercise certified, Zumba® Licensed, Zumba® Toning Licensed, a MADD Dog Certified Cycling Instructor and Pilates Certified. Michelle also has a Bachelors’ degree in Nursing and Community Health. Her over 30 years of nursing practice, which includes Cardiac Rehab, Critical Care, and Diabetic Education have made her well aware of the importance of and developed her passion for exercise. She currently practices as an Rn with Buffalo Medical Groups Cardiology Dept. Group exercise classes she teaches include Body Chisel, Zumba®, Zumba® Toning and Cycling. When she is not teaching or practicing nursing she enjoys outdoor cycling, distance running, hiking, Girl Scout volunteering and spending time with her husband and four children enjoying traveling and recreation. She is energetic, positive, motivating and excited to share fitness and Fun with all participants.

Myra joined the BAC for Women staff shortly after they opened the BAC for Women Tonawanda location. She is a Kripalu Yoga instructor and was trained at the prestigious Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA. Her classes are for everyone! Myra says “When you come to practice yoga you come as you are and your problems, ailments and issues come with you. When you leave my yoga class hopefully you have left some of those things behind and are able to find a bit more peace and balance in the world. Come in try it and let me help you realize your full potential. I am here to both lead you in your experience of yoga and learn from all of you.”

Nicole K

Nicole joined the BAC in 2003 and found her love and the importance of exercise. She has been cycling/spinning for 13 years! She is currently in the process of getting my Mad Dogg cycling certification and will also be getting certified in personal training and group fitness so she can expand her knowledge in physical fitness and share her passion and love of fitness with others.


Nikki started as a Fitness Coach at the BAC for Women in 2015 after studying Public Health at Tulane University. She is now the General Manager and a Power 30 instructor at our Williamsville location. Nikki is passionate about helping women achieve their fitness goals through whole-body wellness! She believes strongly in nutrition and exercise as preventative health-care. Nikki is CPR certified through the American Red Cross. She has completed courses in mobility and functional exercise through The New Breed Athlete and has Qualification in TRX Functional Training. Nikki works with new members to create personalized fitness routines and challenges members in her Power 30 classes. Reach out to Nikki for help updating your workout routines!


Roslyn began teaching for the BAC in 1993, being certified in and teaching a variety of classes over the years including Step, Hi-Lo Aerobics, Slide, Milonga, Cardio-Kick, Hip-Hop, Bollywood, Sculpt, and Spinning. After suffering herniated discs in her neck and low back, she was limited in her physical ability to teach for about two years. In that time, she studied anatomy and the principles of safe spinal alignment and movement. By approximately 2003, Roslyn was well enough to re-certify and return to teaching Yoga, Trekking, and Cycling, each with a focus on proper and safe alignment.
She believes yoga is for everyone and loves sharing her passion for it with others. She also believes cycling class can be enjoyable and empowering and loves providing motivating music and positive coaching to elevate the experience. She hopes you join me in a yoga or cycling class soon!


Sandy joined the BAC for Women in 2007 during the last leg of her 80 pound weight loss journey and being a member ever since has helped her to maintain her weight loss for more than 10 years. In 2015, just before her first knee replacement surgery, Sandy trained with Ellen Coleman to become a Group Exercise instructor in Pilates and cycling. She had my other knee replaced in June 2017. Currently, Sandy teaches Pilates classes at our Tonawanda BAC for Women location. She’s looking forward to seeing you in one of her classes!


Stacia has been a member of the BAC for women since 2007. With a need to make lifestyle changes as she approached 40, she discovered her passion for cycling classes. After nearly a year of training, she became a Cycling instructor in 2017. Her passion for music, positive well being, and a firm belief in paying it forward, are reflected through her vibrant personality and willing to help others at anytime. Stephanie is the Sales Manager and a Power 30 instructor at our Tonawanda location. She currently holds a personal training certification through NETA and is CPR/AED certified. She has been an employee of the BAC for over 5 years but her journey started here in 2011 when she joined as a member. “I loved the environment so much, that when I saw the job posting for fitness coach, I immediately knew I wanted to work here. Being able to offer support and encouragement to women is very fulfilling to me. Theresa joins our BAC Williamsville Location with 10 years of Zumba® experience. From the first Zumba® class she took in 2008, she was immediately hooked on the many various styles of Latin American dance. The energy and Latin beats were so intoxicating, that after the 1 hour class, she walked right up to the instructor and asked, “How do I become an instructor?” Theresa didn’t waste any time and scheduled her training in Youngstown Ohio and then brought Zumba® to Lockport, N.Y. She is excited to be teaching here at the BAC for Women, and if you have ever wondered if you could do Zumba®, she teaches the class with progression, humor and of course with fun- It’s for EVERYONE! Zumba® is an invitation to the dance floor! Zumba® is a fitness class that combines dance and fitness moves. Inspired by Latin dance and music while using a variety of styles in its routines, including Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Mambo, Rumba, Flamenco, and a Hip Hop. Music selections include both fast and slow rhythms to help tone and sculpt the body.

Fitness has been a huge part of Theresa’s life. Since the 1990’s, she has been teaching everything that has come down the fitness pipeline, but Zumba® has a special place in her heart. So if you ever wanted take a Zumba® class, now would be the time to come give it a try!



Traci is a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor at the BAC for Women Williamsville location. She brings over 17 years of experience in progressive health & fitness, coaching, training and motivating clients to perform at their best as well as achieve, maintain and implement their personal fitness goals in their daily lives. Traci encourages clients to take action while understanding and managing their own health care in a positive, motivating and challenging environment. She has had great success in working with diverse populations including all levels of fitness. 

Traci has a proven and established track record of driven results with her clients who train with her one on one, in a small group or with those who take her weekly classes. She tries to lead by example and continues to motivate, shape and transform those who work with her keeping in mind everyone’s limitations.
